Dr. jur. Albert Bausch〔In German a Doctor of Law is abbreviated as Dr. iur. (''Doctor iuris'') or Dr. jur. (''Doctor juris'')〕 (2 July 1904 – 29 August 1944) was a highly decorated ''Major'' of the Reserves in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. The ''Heerespersonalamt'' (Army Staff Office) received the nomination on 11 October 1944. The nomination was then forwarded for further processing on 20 October 1944.
